Replacement Media vs. Replacement Unit
Instructions for the replacement media
This process does not require any tools or a plumber. Disconnect the tank from the bypass valve and unscrew the distributor head from the tank by hand, then dump out the expired media. Pour the new replacement media in the tank with the funnel provided. Follow the start up backwashing and media soak instructions and your ready to go.
Note the expired media is environmentally friendly, thus not requiring any special methods of disposal.
